As I mentioned in a previous post I was asked to contribute an illustration for an art book called ‘Memories’ in aid of Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres. I’m happy to say it’s finish, there was a lot of detail in this one and took me quite a few days. I’m still in shock that I will be in a book alongside some of the artists I most admire and don’t think I will believe it until I see it. The book is due to be launched within the next few months coinciding with an exhibition at Maggie’s London. Here are some sneak peeks and you can find more about the project here.

Here are some sneak peeks of my 3 pieces that will be on show in the Ah! Melody exhibition opening at Mart Gallery, Sydney on Thursday evening. The inspiration for my works has come from the legendary music of Jimi Hendrix. I’m really excited as these new works represent a shift in focus from my dot style to my developing illustrated typographic style. I hope you can make it!

With the madness of Christmas all around and a holiday vibe in the air I’m amazed that I’m still managing to get any work done at all. Here’s a little work in progress shot of a typographic piece that I’m working on at the moment………..

Two more little sneak peeks of the artworks I’ve created especially for Leeloo’s ‘Once Upon’ Exhibition. It’s opening next Thursday the 19th at Ambush Gallery, Sydney. I’m sad that due to other commitments it looks like I won’t be able to make it down for the opening. Nevertheless I’m really looking forward to seeing what everyone has created………..

As mentioned previously I’ve been asked to do 4 new works for Leeloo’s Once Upon exhibition
next month. Here are a few sneak peeks so far from my creations inspired by ‘Peter and the Wolf’.
